Sarah Field is an oil and watercolour painter based in Brisbane, Australia.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging Technology and continues to work part-time as an MRI radiographer. Through her work in healthcare, Sarah is often reminded of the impermanence of life, and that the most important thing you can do here on Earth, is follow your heart. Since 2020 Sarah has worked to develop her career in fine art and surface pattern design - something that has always been on her heart to do. She has participated and been a finalist in many art prizes across Australia and has also sold her work independently to collectors worldwide. 

Sarah credits her study as a classical pianist for giving her a romanticised view of life and art. It also gave her the discipline needed to develop her style of painting, which can see her spend an entire day painting a single flower.
