Sunflowers & Cotton
A commissioned artwork for a North Queensland cotton farmer Peter and his wife, Lynne. A very special piece in memory of their sister Liz, who passed away from breast cancer in 2024. During the pandemic, Peter & Lynne raised over $30,000 for breast cancer research by growing a field of sunflowers and selling them. This piece I will remember forever, as one that expanded my artistic abilities and one that can hold the deepest of memories and meaning in a single image.
